This is a very cool, rare, space age Neil Armstrong Apollo moon landing souvenir necklace from the late 1960s. One side of the pendant depicts Purdue alumni Neil Armstrong, and his colleagues on the space mission, Collins and Aldrin, and the moon landing, with the date July 20, 1969, on the other side. The center of the pendant spins!
The chain is non-original, goldtone and measures about 24″ long. The pendant measures 1 1/2″ in diameter with the spinning center piece measuring about 3/4″ in diameter.
A great, kitchy gift for a Purdue grad or space enthusiast.
